STEWARD TEAMS
For the festival to run smoothly we need up to 65 stewards on duty at any one time, which means that over 200 people need to be involved to run a shift system.
Aims:
To ensure that the event runs smoothly. To impress festival-goers with our helpfulness & competence and the authorities with our ability to operate a safe and smooth-running event.
Stewards are the eyes and ears of event control and cover all aspects of crowd safety, whilst also being sources of information and directions to visitors.
All stewards must be 18 years old or over on the day of the festival. There is no upper age limit. As with all tasks we want as many people as possible to get involved. Please be aware that details of stewards are passed to the police.
