Families are an integral part of Rhythms Of The World, with many people who attended the festivals in the early days now returning with their own families. Our dedicated Family Area is an exciting, interactive, colourful space where children can participate in various fun workshops, have their faces painted, enjoy making arts and crafts and get involved with our annual Family Area Theme.
All activities inside the Family Area, including arts and crafts, music workshops and body stencils, are free to all children attending the festival. However, to ensure all children can participate, we do rely on donations as well as volunteers to make this possible.
Our previous themes include: Under The Sea in 2011, A Space Discovery in 2012 and Vintage Circus in 2014. The Family Area 2015 Theme will be The Wild West, so grab your cowboy hat and come say Howdy!
