About Amy
Amy got involved with ROTW in 2001, originally helping recruit Stewards. Then after a couple of years she became a Steward and did bucket collections for the charity. In 2005 she stepped into a role on the performance team and has worked with this team ever since. She became Artist Welfare and Hospitality Co-ordinator in 2008 and at the 2013 AGM, stood up to become a Trustee and the Chairperson for the Charity. Amy is also the Trustee lead for the Performance group.

John Brierley

About John
John first volunteered as a Steward for ROTW in 2005 and after moving with the festival to the Priory in 2008, became a Senior Steward. This year, his 11th with ROTW, John has stepped up to take a more active role in the organisation as a Trustee of the charity with a brief to work alongside and support the Head of Finance and Income team. They work together to ensure the festival is funded, pays its way and is able to prosper into future years as part of our Hitchin community.

About Michael
Michael became involved in ROTW as a Steward in 2003 and Senior Steward following the move to its current home in Hitchin Priory. He became a Trustee in 2015 and works with the Volunteers Group.

Kirsty Little
Trustee & Production Crew Manager
About Kirsty
Kirsty started with ROTW in 2008 when we first moved into Hitchin Priory helping on the Artist Welfare team, welcoming acts and managing the logistics of moving people round the site. She soon stepped up to Production Crew Manager in 2010 where she looks after around 500 volunteers who come onto site to help build and run behind the scenes at the festival. If that wasn’t enough to keep her occupied, in 2013 she stepped up to become a Trustee and is also the Trustee lead for the Art Group.

Phaedra Furphy

About Phaedra
Phaedra has been attending Rhythms of the World since 1997, becoming a volunteer in 1999. She started by doing legal research for the festival e.g. licensing, music workshops etc. She has had various roles, mainly as a Steward and Senior Steward. She became a Trustee in January 2015, and is the Trustees lead for the Communications Group.

About Martin
Martin joined Rhythms of the World in 2001 and became a Trustee in 2007. He leads the Trustees’ presence in Event Control over the festival weekend.
