Rhythms of the World 2011 from Film Infinity.

For a flavour of everything that is Rhythms of the World, check out our video (above).

Rhythms of the World is a unique festival of all that’s best in the local and global community; featuring new culture and creativity whilst showcasing some outstanding musicians and artists from the local area and around the world.

Headlining artists this year will include Junior Murvin and Juju (winners of the Mojo magazine album of the year in 2011) supported by a stellar line up of Jassi Sidhu, The Damned, Young Knives and The Boxettes. Add a bit of Speech Debelle, Molotov Jukebox and Blair Dunlop and there really promises to be something for everyone to enjoy. Check out the full line up.

Meanwhile, four Artists in Residence will create an artwork on site during the festival. They will work in a covered space for the weekend and festival goers are encouraged to interact with the artists to learn more about their work.

Rhythms of the World is already an award-winning festival and has, this year, been voted by Songlines Magazine as one of the top 10 UK summer festivals alongside the likes of WOMAD, Larmer Tree and Latitude Festivals.

With more than 140 acts and seven stages it is also one of the best value festivals around.
